Description
The Graco TriRide 3-in-1 Car Seat helps keep little ones safe from baby to big kid with three modes of use: rear-facing harness (5-40 lbs), forward-facing harness (26.5-65 lbs) and a highback booster (40-100 lbs).
The harness allows you to adjust the height of the headrest and harness in one motion, helping to save you time and ensure your child is properly secured. For infants, removable plush head and body inserts help to keep your baby feeling cradled and comfortable.
Choose the headrest height from 10 positions and adjust the seat to six recline positions for a better installation. LATCH-equipped for simple installation, the easy-to-read level indicator also lets you know it’s installed correctly.
While in belt-positioning booster mode, the integrated harness storage compartment keeps the harness safely stored away. Open-loop belt guides help properly position your vehicle’s seat belt across your child in highback booster mode.
For comfort and convenience, the Car Seat has two easy-to-clean cup holders that keep drinks close at hand, and the seat pad is comfy and machine washable.
The steel-reinforced frame provides strength and durability for years of use. This car seat is also Graco ProtectPlus Engineered to help protect in frontal, side, rear and rollover crashes.

Let’s eye up safety for installation, seriously…

I’m rating this as a 1 because Graco seriously couldn’t pay the few extra cents I’m sure it would’ve cost them to use the ball level indicator on this seat? Instead it’s just a red line that says to “level with the ground”. When it comes to safely installing a car seat this is extremely disappointing. If you’re set on a Graco car seat, opt for the tri ride that’s the same price. Highly disappointing that I’m playing the guessing game when it comes to my child’s safety.

I bought this 3 weeks ago from Target and unfortunately will not be able to return it, though I wish I could. The straps do not tighten enough at all no matter what, and my mom who does daycare and has to take carseat classes agrees it is not safe as I can still fit my fingers underneath after already struggling to tighten for 2+ minutes. My oldest has the triride 3 in 1, and I 100% wish we would’ve gotten that one again over this one as we’ve had no issues with the straps, and it seems there is much more room to grow into it.

Great for a second vehicle! (Not everyday)

Got this as a second car seat for my husband’s vehicle (which means it’s mostly used on the weekend). Absolutely works great for that purpose! It is a little harder to pull the strap to tighten the shoulder strap than I’d prefer, but it’s still doable, it just requires a good amount of leverage.
I don’t love that in order to get a proper rear facing fit in the car, the manual recommends rolling a towel up under it? It just doesn’t feel super safe to me in that matter.

Don’t buy- straps are dangerous
Do not buy. Wish I did more research before purchasing. Straps do not tighten enough, regardless of how hard you pull. Completely unsafe.

Room for toddler

Very comfortable for my 2.5 year old. We have the Slimfit LX which is good too, but don’t necessarily need a narrow car seat so this feels roomier in our truck. The passenger seat doesn’t need to be pushed all the way up which is a plus.

Pretty decent for the price

For being a lower price compared to another model I got, this one is still pretty nice. Installing it was not as easy, but it still is similar like the other gracos. Cup holder is a must, so I'm glad this one had it. We purchased this because we trust Graco as I have had other products that work great for us. But want to add, we have not used it yet, as it is a backup for grandma's car.
