This Chicco infant car seat offers more headrest height and legroom to comfortably maximize rear-facing use.
Featuring ClearTex flame retardant-free materials, KeyFit Max ClearTex is also GREENGUARD Gold Certified for low chemical emissions, contributing to healthier air quality around baby.
The easy-adjust carry handle raises and lowers with one hand for easy access while securing and removing your baby from the car seat.
The 5-position, Easy-Extend Headrest System raises with the harness to accommodate growth up to 32” tall, allowing you to keep little ones in the same rear-facing car seat longer. The integrated anti-rebound bar provides added stability for every ride while offering extended legroom.
A removable, ergonomic newborn positioner provides added support for infants 4-11 lbs.
The car seat carrier clicks into the included stay-in-car base and compatible Chicco strollers for streamlined travel.
Premium LATCH connectors and a SuperCinch Force-Multiplying LATCH Tightener help achieve a secure fit with a fraction of the effort. One-hand ReclineSure spring-loaded leveling foot works in tandem with RideRight bubble levels for proper car seat angle. The LockSure steel-reinforced belt system also helps with a secure vehicle belt installation.
When traveling or on-the-go, integrated European belt routing provides 3-points of contact for a secure, carrier-only install.

Reliable, Relatively Affordable, Safe enough for peace of mind
I purchased with an additional base for a second vehicle and with the Chicco Keyfit Caddy Frame. I had chosen this car seat specifically due to the price point and the crash test safety ratings. Best Car Seat
We have been a Chicco family for years. This car seat is easy to install and we love the new feature of a one hand adjustment for the handle. The quality is always super with Chicco.

My thoughts & experience
I have used this product for three weeks now. During the first week, the Canopy Frame (a plastic piece that holds up the visor/canopy) broke under normal use. I would appreciate it if Chicco could use better plastic so this isn't an issue. Design-wise, I'd also try to relocate or re-design the ambidextrous Easy-adjust handle button as when holding, you may accidentally engage the button. This has not posed a safety hazard to our child but is annoying to encounter. Overall, I would still purchase this product again and this post serves as recommendations to the design team.

Obsessed!
Love Love Love this car seat, so light weight which i was looking for, I had a doona car seat/stroller system and it was unbelievable heavy. It was not practical for everyday use. So I got this car seat hoping it was lighter and much easier so use (especially when putting car seat in and out of the car). It clicks into my chicco lightweight bravo stroller that was gifted to me and I am obsessed!! So easy to click in and out of the stroller and so easy to click in and out of the car. My baby looks very comfortable in it!

A+ customer service
Our car does not have the latches that were described for installation so we were very confused. We were transferred to Courtney, who FaceTimed us to help fit the car seat into our 1996 car. She was so helpful and eased our anxieties. Car seat is great and simple but customer service was outstanding!

Everything but the canopy
Overall seems like a good car seat, but I am not at all impressed with the canopy. It does not pull tight and is very droopy. I already confirmed with support that this is correct so a little disappointed in that being that I will be using the canopy constantly.

Great Car Seat!
What a great product! Easy to use and install, as well as, easy to get on and off the base. The material is durable and the car seat is very well made, with the bonus of being easy to wipe off!
