Description

Babies love to be carried, but after while, this can take a toll on your arms, hips and back.

Tushbaby is a strap-free, ergonomic hipseat that evenly distributes your baby’s weight—so you can carry your little one longer and more comfortably.

Tushbaby helps you take a load off, literally, by reducing muscular strain on the spine while holding baby. The squishy memory foam seat supports and positions your child’s hips in the proper M-shaped position, helping to reduce the risk of hip dysplasia. It can be used in face-to-face, side-carrying and front-facing positions, and offers support during breastfeeding and bottle-feeding as early as infancy.

The wide belt features a plush pad and built-in lumbar support, which means more comfort for you. It also features roomy pockets to stash diapers, keys and pacifiers and has a hideable bottle holder and toy loop for on-the-go convenience.

It’s designed to fit 23”–44” waists, but you can add up to 24 more inches with the Waistband Extender (sold separately).

There a few key differences with the fabric types:

  • Standard Polyester ($85): machine washable
  • Vegan Leather ($98): wipe clean (not machine washable)
  • Velvet ($115): machine washable

Note: Parents still need to keep an arm around baby.

The one item you need on your baby registry!
I won’t lie that I was hesitant to purchase a TushBaby because I thought the last thing I needed was another carrier. My mom ended up purchasing one for my daughter (her granddaughter) and I was instantly hooked. I immediately bought one and it’s the only carrier I use now!

Life saver for my lower back!
As someone with chronic lower back pain, the tush baby is a game changer! It acts like a back brace and gives incredible support. I feel great when I use it! I wish I bought this sooner. This would be a great gift to yourself or a friend!

Didn’t work for me, but happy with customer support!
I really wanted to love the Tushbaby because the build quality is excellent, but it wasn't a good fit for my body type. Despite following all the instructions to wear it high and tight, the seat dug into my lower abdomen and the wide belt hit my ribs painfully. For reference, I am 5’2” and 120 lbs, and my baby is 12 months old and 9 lbs. I think it might be better suited for someone with a longer torso. That said, their customer service and return process were seamless. I appreciate how easy it was to try the product!

Super convenient! Some tweaks could make it even better.
Full transparency - I've used this only around the house so far. I love how convenient it is and that the weight is on my hips - this seems to be a better distribution for my body. I plan to use it for travel and see how it is "on the road. " The few things I wish were different: 1) it may not be possible, given the design needs structure, but I'd love to see this in a breathable fabric. Don't love the vinyl quality to it (don't love vegan leather in general). 2) I got the hands-free attachment,

Best product ever!!!
This is my most used baby item! I used it for running errands with my baby, like trips to the grocery store, during the church service, while I'm cooking in the kitchen, in Zoom work meetings, vacuuming, taking walks around the neighborhood - it's so comfy for my baby and me - he often falls asleep in it! And I love that the carrier puts him close enough to me that I can kiss his sweet head often. I buy this for every new mom friend, because I know it will be used daily. It's SO practical and

Not made for bigger women
I wear a size 16 and this is not very comfortable for my size. I really wanted it to work but unfortunately I’m not small enough to wear this with my baby.
