The Organic Omni Swaddle Sack supports baby’s changing needs during the first twelve weeks. As baby develops, it allows parents to comfort baby using best sleep practices.

Swaddling options:

• Hands midline on chest under the wrap for full suppression of the startle reflex (best for newborns)
• Hand up by face, one cuff open for self-soothing (usually 1 month)
• One arm up with cuff closed for partial suppression of startle reflex and wrap secured around other arm, when baby wants an arm outside the wrap (usually 2 months)
• Both arms up with cuffs closed for partial suppression of startle reflex and wrap secured around tummy; this is helpful when baby is ready to roll and still has a strong startle reflex (important at 2-3 months)
• Arms up fully extended through the 1/2 length sleeves, cuffs open, for no suppression of the startle reflex and wrap secured around tummy (3 months+)

If baby likes to sleep with arms up, parents can open one or both cuffs so baby can self-soothe by sucking on their hand. Or, close the cuffs to protect baby from facial scratches.

The Hip Healthy design has a two-way double-pull zipper for easier diaper changes. Unzip from the foot to change baby’s diaper without undoing the swaddle wrap.

When baby shows signs of rolling over, stop swaddling with arms under the wrap. Continue to use with arms up and out from under the wrap and secure the wrap over baby’s chest and tummy, so baby can use arms if they roll over.

With arms up and mitten cuffs closed, the patented half-length sleeves provide partial suppression of the Moro reflex, and allows arm mobility if baby rolls over.
