Philips Avent Natural glass bottles support baby’s natural drinking rhythm—baby controls the pace of the milk flow, just like with breastfeeding.
The bottles are made of premium quality borosilicate glass, which is a BPA-free, heat and thermal-shock resistant material. They can be safely stored in the fridge or warmed.
The soft, wide breast-shaped nipple mimics the shape and feel of a breast, making it easier to switch between breast and bottle feeding.
The no-drip nipple design helps prevent lost milk, while the anti-colic valve keeps air away from baby’s tummy during feeding.
The Ultra Soft pacifiers have a soft, flexible shield designed to reduce skin irritation

When selecting bottles for my primarily breastfed child I knew I wanted glass but beyond that I stuck with a friend’s recommendation. Lids pop off while feeding baby
I was feeding my baby with this bottle, and all of a sudden the lid pops off and the milk spilled all over my baby. I used these bottles for my first baby, and three months into my second baby and this happened. Clearly a product defect and I will be throwing them all away and purchasing a different brand bottles.

These bottles are by far the best I’ve tried! I used to use the Dr. Brows bottles but honestly they were so annoying— green straw was too much to clean plus they leaked, oh and the opening was too small for pouring formula powder into. The Avent bottles are the perfect size, durable glass, never leak, and I love the wide opening. Also, the ca is securely on so they won’t slip out of your hand. Newborn gift set review

I want to love the Philips Avent Natural Newborn Glass Gift Set, but I can’t for two reasons: the nipple on the baby bottle & the pacifier shape.
The nipple on the baby bottle does not pass the “triangle test” supported by IBCLCs and SLPs to allow for a deep latch. My baby will just “nipple feed” off the Avent bottles which translates to a poorer latch on the breast when we’re not bottle feeding. The pacifier shape is also not a slim, round, flexible shape that’s approved by said…
