does this alert me if baby stops breathing?
Best Answer: Yes. When you use the Nanit Pro Monitor with Nanit Breathing Wear (like the Breathing Band or Swaddle) and have an active Nanit Insights subscription, you’ll receive a real-time alert if breathing motion is not detected.
Do I need to have a subscription in order to use the camera?
Best Answer: You don’t need a subscription to use the Nanit Pro Smart Baby Monitor for live streaming, basic monitoring, and alerts. But a subscription is required to access features like sleep tracking, video history, and personalized insights.
Does the breathing band need to be used?
Best Answer: You don't need to use the breathing band. The monitor works fine without it, but you'll miss out on a few app features.
Is it dual voltage?
Best Answer: It does accept an input voltage of 100-240V.
Can the breathing bad be worn under a swaddle?
Best Answer: You'll want to wear the breathing band over a swaddle to take advantage of the features. The camera needs to see the band to work clearly.

If I wanted to bring this camera with me when I travel, should I purchase a separate Multi-Stand Accessory so I can put the camera on a dresser, etc? This set does not come with any other stand beside the Floor Stand, correct?
Best Answer: This set only includes the floor stand. For travel convenience, it's a good idea to purchase the Nanit Smart Baby Monitor Multi-Stand Accessory separately.
If used traveling, will it function at all without WiFi?
Best Answer: It won't. This monitor needs WiFi to work.
Can this be used with my SNOO bassinet? The band would have to go under the SNOO swaddle?
Best Answer: We do have some users who use both Nanit and SNOO, and they have not reported any issues with either alerts or Nanit Insights. SNOO creates both motion and sound so we are unable to guarantee that alerts and Insights will work the same as if Nanit were set up with a bassinet or a crib.
The Breathing Band should never be worn on top of a swaddle. It must always be worn underneath your baby's arms, around their torso, otherwise it could pose a suffocation or strangulation hazard.
How long does the free trial last?

Not worth the money
Just okay in my opinion. I don’t think it’s worth the money. I constantly have to reset the camera because it loses connection. The temperature gauge on the camera is also off. As an example, right now it says the room is 65*, however I have a Dyson fan in the same room that says it’s 69* in the room (Dyson is always accurate). This is concerning considering temperature is so important for safe sleep. The notification for movement is VERY sensitive. A dust particle will set it off which means…

Wish we would’ve bought from the start!
Really wishing we would’ve bought this from day 1! The breathing insights, the tips, the camera quality, the easy set up, the app - truly 0 complaints! It’s been the best switch from our previous camera / smart sock system. Could not recommend this more!

The idea of being able
The idea of being able to watch and capture memories of your baby sounds amazing. However, i’ve quite a few issues with incorrect nightly insights, camera “losing connection” and the breathing band not registering resulting in many false monitor cancellations. Unfortunately I am disappointed with the performance given the price of the system as it well as the memberships. Especially when having to add additional memberships per camera.

Split screen is a must!
Love Nanit! Bought the new smart baby monitor system with my second baby and the split camara feature is a must with 2 kids. Also, really like the new separate screen to keep close by instead on just our phones.
