Description

With the 2.0 version of its Single-to-Double Stroller, Mockingbird added even more thoughtful enhancements to this parent favorite. Mockingbird is a direct-to-consumer brand that skips retailer markups, so this stroller costs less than it would otherwise.

Like the name implies, the Single-to-Double starts as a single stroller, but can expand into a double by adding the 2nd Seat Kit (sold separately), so you can stroll with two infants, an infant and toddler or two toddlers. You can also accommodate three kids by adding the Riding Board attachment.

The stroller can be used from birth with their cozy lie-flat Bassinet, the practical space-saving Infant Seat Insert or one of their Car Seat Adapters that make their stroller compatible with over 40 different infant car seats (sold separately). You can also get the stroller and bassinet together as a bundle.

When they’re ready (around six months), they can switch to the toddler seat which is reversible and reclinable for flexibility as their preferences evolve.

The canopy is made of a UPF 50+ material to block out UV rays and with a quick unzip, it extends for additional sun protection. This latest version also includes a pop-out visor to provide extra shade. On the inside of the canopy, the black-and-white patterns are not only super cute but help promote early childhood visual development.

You can expect smooth strolls thanks to all-wheel suspension, shock-absorbing tires that never go flat and updates to the 2.0 frame design. More noteworthy features: the stroller can be folded with one hand, the handlebar rotates to accommodate caregivers of different heights and the updated seat straps automatically adjust to the child’s height with one quick pull (no more manual re-threading).

Reflective material on the back of the seat and basket make for safer evening strolls. And for storage, the generous XL basket helps you stash up to 25 lbs of essentials. There’s even a hidden seatback pocket designed to keep your phone accessible.

Is this stroller compatible with the Nuna Pipa urbn? ?

Best Answer:  The adapter is currently confirmed compatible with Nuna PIPA Aire, PIPA Aire RX, PIPA and PIPA RX, but not URBN.

Can you use two bassinets for twins?

Best Answer:  The Single-to-Double Stroller supports only one Bassinet at a time. If you're planning for twins, we recommend using two Infant Seat Inserts or two Car Seat Adapters (either way, you'll need a 2nd Seat Kit!).

Does this stroller comply with disney park requirements?

Best Answer:  Yes, it does.

Can you attach a car seat on to the mockingbird?

Best Answer:  You can totally attach a car seat to the Mockingbird stroller with a car seat adapter.

What components do you need if you are having twins?

Best Answer:  You'll need the 2nd Seat Kit to make room for two as well as the proper adpater if you plan on connecting an infant car seat.

What does the single to double 2.0 come with?

Best Answer:  It comes with the stroller frame, four wheels, one seat with a detachable child bar, and an extendable canopy.

I have a toddler, and am expecting. If I were to get this stroller to use with a car seat and the seat it comes with, I would just need to buy the car seat adapter and a car seat obviously? Or I have to buy the second seat kit as well?

Best Answer:  If you get this stroller, you'll just need to buy the car seat adapter and a car seat to use it with your toddler and newborn. You won't need to buy the second seat kit unless your baby grows faster and requires a second seat that your toddler is still using.

I am a little confused about what this comes with. Is it JUST the stroller- no attachments, or toddler seat?

Best Answer:  This stroller comes as a single but can be expanded into a double by adding the 2nd Seat Kit, which is sold separately.

Is this the newest model on Mockingbirds website with the extended canopy and black break pedal? On mockingbirds site the newest model with new features is selling for $450?

Best Answer:  This is the newest model of the Mockingbird stroller.

Is it possible for the baby to face you with the infant seat insert? The image appears to only be facing forward

Best Answer:  The stroller is reversible so you can use the infant seat insert with the baby facing you.

Grandma, mom and dad as well as baby love the stroller for ease and mobility. It’s very stylish too. I would recommend it for sure as I see it lasting past baby # 1 and hopefully there will be a #2&3 to enjoy it too.

I love this stroller! It feels like good quality in your hands when you use it, so you don't worry about something breaking or malfunctioning on it. The tires are rubber, not plastic, making them softer and more durable. The suspension is just right - it moves just the right amount so that my kids are comfortable on uneven road. The brake is positioned in the middle of the back axle, and all you have to do is step on the front of it to engage it and on the back of it to disengage. And converting

Almost Perfect
I eyeballed this stroller my whole pregnancy, I wrote down every pro and con, but just couldn’t justify spending so much money on something I couldn’t touch in person at any stores nearby. My husband surprised me and got it during the Black Friday sale!
Once we got it, it was totally worth every penny. The stroller is solid and so easy to fold/unfold. It’s also not near as heavy as I feared it would be to get into the back of our Yukon. We got the attachment for our Maxicosi and Nuna car

Great customer service!
As new parents, we're loving using this stroller. It's easy to pack up and a smooth ride for baby. I had an issue with someone buying us the wrong model stroller from our registry and Parker from customer service was so easy to work with. They were communicative and went above and beyond.

Wish the seats had more space
It’s been really good so far with how well it moves and glides and I love the big basket on the bottom and the ride on board. I just wish the seats fit toddlers better. I put our 2.5 year old son in it the first time and he looked like he was going to out grow it already and didn’t seem to have enough head clearance with the canopy. And our son is average size and height, so it’s not because he’s too big or too tall. Compared to other strollers it doesn’t seem like it grows with your child from infant through the toddler years and the seats don’t seem to be very roomy.

Worth the price; very good stroller
Pros: A very smooth ride
Easy to put together and take apart
Lots of storage space
Folds out easily
Sleek look
Cons: A bit bulky
Somewhat heavier than other strollers
(To be expected when a stroller is designed to accommodate two children)

Functional and worth the price!
I’ve loved my mockingbird. It drives very smooth, has great cargo space, and is reasonably priced esp as it’s a double stroller!
It is a bummer to have to buy an adapter, but once you have the adapter it is soooo functional and easy to use. I appreciate that I don’t have to wake my sleeping baby and transfer her to into the stroller.
