When I first got this pump I was excited because I used a version of this in the hospital that worked great! Unfortunately not my experience. I used it for maybe 2 and a half weeks then it just stopped turning in???? Never dropped, well taken care of so no reason to quit working. So disappointed. My baby won’t latch so I am dependent on my pump to feed him. I had to go spend hundreds more to get a different brand.

Favorite Pump!
I used the spectra with my first baby and struggled. This time around I switched up and used this pump and I’ve had great results. I also love how there are less parts than most other pumps.

I got this pump via Babylist Health and insurance for my 2nd baby. With my first baby I used Spectra (which still works) so I picked this Medela because I got lots of replacement parts from a friend. The suction works fine when it works, but the Silicone diaphragm on one side doesn't seal all the way and has an air leak, which is disappointing because i'd only used it 5 times. I have to hold it clamped shut with my hand to get the right suction on that side. I don't love that there's no timer

Top heavy design makes it too easy to knock over
Top heavy design makes it easy to tip over. Can be problematic especially if you are trying to pump while you feed your baby. It doesn’t take much to topple it over and the motor can’t handle the damage. I’ve broken two of these pumps in the last four months because it is so easy to know over.

Medela
Broke within the first month. Did not have this issue with Medela when I nursed my first two babies. Awful pump.

Very satisfied for first pump!
Got this pump through my insurance and i honestly love it! It’s a little weird to put together but I think it works amazing! I like that it came with extra milk storage bags super helpful, the flanges that it came with where a little big for my nipple size but I use 18mm flanges I was given in the hospital and they work super well! Appreciate the different strength modes!YouTube videos made it super easy to put together!

Worst pump I’ve ever tried. Turns off with the slightest movement, the hoses unplug easily, and the pump leaks. I wrote medela hopefully I can get a replacement. 0 out of 10.

Honestly wasn’t a fan…

I had high expectations for the Medela Pump in Style Pro given the brand reputation and high price point, but unfortunately this pump was a letdown. The suction is inconsistent and noticeably weaker than expected, making pumping sessions longer and less effective. Even at higher settings, it doesn’t feel efficient, which is frustrating when time and comfort matter so much.

The pump is also quite loud, making it inconvenient to use discreetly or while others are around. Portability is

Great for mom who want feeding baby with breastmil

I breastfeed my baby entirely by expressing milk and then feeding with a bottle of breast milk. I use the Medela Freestyle, and this time I had the opportunity to use the Medela Pump In Style Pro. From my experience, the Pump In Style Pro is weaker and less convenient than the Freestyle because you have to sit in one fixed place when pumping. However, it still empties the milk very well. The pumping is gentle, and I don’t feel nipple pain. It’s worth the investment.
