The exterior is made of Sherpa fleece, while the inside is fully lined with soft, 100% combed cotton.
Built-in mittens provide extra warmth. The magnetic closure at the top makes for easier bundling.

Does this go under or overtop of a carseat?
Best Answer: This item is not designed to be used while baby is in a car seat. The material is very thick and can prevent the car seat straps from being properly tightened. If you are wanting something to keep baby warm in their infant car seat, you may want to look at a car seat cover that goes over the entire top of the car seat like this one: https://www.babylist.com/gp/skip-hop-stroll-go-car-seat-cover/13500/21149

Bizarre Proportions
Check the sizing carefully as Newborn is sized for babies only up to 8 pounds. Tried to cram my unfortunate week-old daughter into this outfit only for her arms to reach halfway down the sleeves and the torso would not close. If your child is made of angel hair pasta, this is the product for you.

Sizing makes no sense
Super short torso and super long limbs. My baby never fit into this outfit because the sizing is way off. Her torso outgrew the outfit while her arms and legs were still comically too short

Adorable and warm, but hard to put on!
