Description
The LifeVac is a non-powered, non-invasive, single-use-only airway clearance device developed for resuscitating an adult or child (over 22 lbs) with an airway obstruction. It should be used when choking protocols have been followed without success.
Why is it so effective? The negative pressure generated by the force of the suction is three times greater than the highest recorded abdominal thrusts. The duration of the suction is also minimal (it works quickly), making it a safe and reliable.
