Organic Cloth Diaper Inner
Overview
Description
Esembly diapers are made up of two products: an absorbent Inner and a waterproof Outer (sold separately). The soft, organic cotton Inner is the part of the diaper that provides the absorbency.
To ensure its effectiveness, Esembly has designed it with a uniquely layered core that maximizes washability and absorbency.
The Inners come in two sizes and are made to grow with baby. The waist snaps allow for adjustments to accommodate expanding bellies, while the rippled core and stretchy elastic at the legs will expand as baby gets taller.
Here’s how it works:
- Put a fresh Inner on your baby at each change.
- Cover the Inner with a waterproof Outer to make a complete diaper.
- Change an awake baby every 2-3 hours, or immediately if poop is detected.
- To accommodate long nighttime sleep stretches, boost the absorbency of your diaper with Ultra-Absorbent Overnight Cloth Diaper Boosters (sold separately)
If cloth diapering full-time, they recommend having 24 Inners and 6 Outers. Inners require laundering after each use, whereas Outers can be used multiple times before washing.
Launder your Inners and Outers every 2-3 days using Esembly Washing Powder (or similar clean-rinsing detergent) as per the Esembly’s 4-step wash instructions.

Baby prefers these to disposable ones!
Only reason for 4 stars is that they don’t hold a ton of pee before it starts to soak the waistband where the snaps are, but I don’t care too much cause we do EC, and there’s never really a “ton” of pee to change since we do disposables at night. Not sure how these would do overnight for belly sleepers like my girl.…
After nannying and working in daycares for 15+ years, I’ve changed A LOT of diapers. I knew when it came time to select diapers for my own baby that I wanted to be as sustainable as possible, but hesitated to switch to a system that was unfamiliar. I decided to take the leap and 4 months in I couldn’t be happier. My baby has had hardly no blowouts, the cotton inners are gentle on his skin and…
