Description
The hip seat helps carry baby (6-48 months) for shorter periods of time, usually around the house.
It has a wide waistband with padded shelf-like seat, which baby sits on while you hold them with an arm. The cushioned seat has a sloped angle and anti-slip grip to keep baby in place.
Instead of holding growing baby in your arms or on your hip, you can seat them in the seat with less strain on your arms and back.
For a hands-free carry, parents can convert the hip seat into a hip seat carrier (attach the back panel with shoulder straps). This can be used when baby is around four months.

As an easy-to-carry breastfeeding pillow, this Lift Hip seat carrier works very well. I take it with me when I travel away from home and it is small enough and easy to transport. As a lift hip seat carrier though, it leaves much to be desired. While it can somewhat tighten to my hip size, it folds over itself because of my smaller size, making it a little uncomfortable. It also dips down when the baby sits on it, and still forces me to tilt my hips to accommodate for that dip so my baby sits more evenly.

Love!
I am not a mommy myself, but Ergobaby is my one stop shopping for baby gifts. All products I have purchased are mommy/baby approved. I even picked up a Hip seat for myself because I have nieces and nephews that love to be carried. A shout out goes to all the Mommies, I don’t know how you do it. Lifesaver! My baby only falls
Lifesaver! My baby only falls asleep when she is carried, but it's a long battle as she twists and turns, and sitting down so I could rest a little meant starting over. Now she falls asleep in half the time and my arms and back no longer hurt.

Love it!! 100% recommend
Definitely useful! My boyfriend and I love the hip carrier. I even purchased a second one to keep in the car. I had purchased a different brand before and I liked that it had different little pockets but it was not as good as this one. I definitely recommend this carrier. We love it so much and works great for us and put little one.

This hip seat is definitely
This hip seat is definitely a huge saver on the wrists. I just wish that there was a thick layer of padding where the seat touches your body. After wearing it for awhile it digs into your skin and actually hurts. But if not used for long periods of time it’s great.
